Nestled in the heart of Hialeah, Maruchi Restaurant is a vibrant celebration of authentic Cuban and Latin American flavors that beckon food lovers seeking a truly genuine culinary experience. This inviting spot blends the warmth of a traditional Cuban eatery with a casual, diner-like ambiance that feels both comforting and lively—ideal for a relaxed meal any time of the day.
Maruchi’s menu brims with rich, soul-satisfying dishes that are vivid expressions of Caribbean and Spanish cuisine. From the first bite, the Vaca Frita captivates with its tender, crispy beef, perfectly complemented by the earthy, lovingly simmered Frijoles Colorados and the sweet caramel notes of Maduros. The experience continues with timeless classics like the hearty Picadillo Boliche and the exquisitely tender Boliche En Salsa, each imbued with profound flavors and home-cooked depth that instantly transports you.
Seafood lovers are in for a treat with options like the Filete De Pescado a La Plancha, where the grilled fish fillet offers a delicate, smoky finish that pairs beautifully with the aromatic Arroz Moro. Another standout is the Ropa Vieja, a Cuban staple, served with generous portions that invite sharing—or a satisfying takeaway meal, as noted by delighted patrons.
Saturday specials elevate the dining experience further, featuring indulgent choices such as Camarones Enchilado—shrimp bathed in a luscious, spicy sauce—and Masa De Cerdo Frito, crispy fried pork dumplings that perfectly balance texture and flavor. The weekday offering of Filete De Pescado A La Plancha at a special price is a fantastic weekday lure for fresh, expertly cooked seafood.
The beverage selection complements the fare with traditional Cuban touches—robust café con leche and fresh, tangy Jugo De Naranja—bringing depth and zest to the meal. Don’t miss the homemade desserts like the creamy, silky Flan Casero, which provides just the right sweet conclusion.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere at Maruchi Restaurant resonates with genuine hospitality. Guests have praised the staff for their warm and family-like service—always attentive and knowledgeable, with special mentions of hosts Dunia and Daisy, who make every visit feel personal and welcoming. The venue strikes a perfect balance between a bustling community hotspot and an intimate spot to unwind, whether sitting in the lively front or the more serene rear dining area.

A friend took me here after a bike ride along South Beach. She said it was authentic Cuban cuisine. The venue had a diner like vibe. The front area was packed so we sat in back room which was lovely! My friend ordered the exact same meal for both of us - Cuban steak, rice and beans and bread. It was delicious & the portions were large enough that we both had a take home meal. We finished the meal with Cuban coffee - an AWESOME dinner experience !!! The service was superb too! Highly recommend Maruchi Restaurant !!!
Best in Hialeah - Worth Every Mile! Maruchi Restaurant has hands-down the best service in all of Hialeah especially. The staff treats you like family from the moment you walk in especially Dunia and Daisy and the food? Always fresh, flavorful, and made with love. I drive 5 hours just to eat here... it's that good. Every visit is worth the trip. If you're looking for a place where quality, consistency, and warmth come together, Maruchi is it. A true gem!
Forget Palacio de jugo’s or blue sky, this Latin restaurant is the place to go to for consistently good food that tastes like it’s straight out of your abuela’s kitchen! Also, appreciate the fire cafe con leche and quick service. Definitely a place for any time of the day and very friendly on the pocket
Food was tasty. I’ve never had Cuban food before but this was a great introduction. We have shrimp, tamales, yuca, salad, salad, fried plantains, and complimentary bread. The service was okay, not super attentive but alright. There were a few other people at the restaurant but not a lot, and they didn’t linger for too long, so it wasn’t too loud. There is ample parking at the property so we were able to find it right away. Will definitely check it out again next time I’m back in Miami.
Love, love, love. First time visiting and not disappointed. Service was great. A young lady behind the counter was kind enough to explain every dish. We also ordered their Cuban coffee and it was delicious. The price was affordable and portions big enough to fill you up. The inside is clean and they also sell some of their home made items in to go boxes, wine and other goodies. We will be visiting next time we come back.
Ngl I was a bit nervous when my Uber dropped us off with our carryons in this area, but after coming in and no one looked at us funny, but greeted us kindly with the effort to communicate (like only one employee spoke English) and help us order, all my concerns melted away. The FOOOOOOOD!!!! This is my first time eating Cuban food and it was absolutely BUSSIIIINGGGGG. Iono what it's called, but that pork with the craklin/chicharone was TOP TIER! The avocados were the size of the taco bell chihuahua and the dark colored rice was SO flavorful. Plantains were cooked to PERFECTION....I could really be a lot more detailed than this, but y'all just need to come for yourselves. Don't let the language barrier hold you back from this amazing cuisine. 10/10 100% highly recommend!
It was my first visit, and while there was a language barrier (no English), the staff made an effort to be helpful. The food was excellent. I also had the coconut and milk flan, which was a great way to end the meal.
